Safe and affordable CBD works against COVID19! New study shows Cannabidiol Inhibits SARS-CoV-2 Replication and Promotes the Host Innate Immune Response. No need to be jabbed with any risky mandatory vaccines then?

Published in the National Library of Medicine, the authors of the study report that:

“Our results suggest that CBD can block SARS-CoV-2 infection at early stages of infection, and CBD administration is associated with a lower risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection in humans.”          (Preprint 2021 Mar 10.doi: 10.1101/2021.03.10.432967)

Yesterday, Principia Scientific International posted a review of my anecdotal experience using Cannabidiol (CBD) over a 12-month period as a health supplement. I reported feeling several benefits using a high-quality product from a British company, Hempura CBD UK. (for clarification, I have NOT been paid to endorse this company)

It now turns out that CBD not only can be valuable in treating a range of ailments, it is also shown to be effective in combating that doppelganger of influenza – ‘COVID19.’

The Abstract of the aforementioned study tells us:

“A cohort of human patients previously taking CBD had significantly lower SARSCoV-2 infection incidence of up to an order of magnitude relative to matched pairs or the general population. This study highlights CBD, and its active metabolite, 7-OH-CBD, as potential preventative agents and therapeutic treatments for SARS-CoV-2 at early stages of infection.”

The study states that coronaviruses (including SARS-CoV, 229E, NL63, OC43, HKU1, and MERS-CoV) are claimed to cause a range of symptoms from the common cold to more severe pathologies. It is fair to see there is no clinical difference between the symptoms of ‘COVID’ and influenza or a bad cold.

The study points out that despite recent vaccine availability, coronavirus infections are still spreading rapidly, highlighting the need for alternative treatments, especially for populations with limited access to vaccines.  Being that the reported efficacy of such ‘vaccines’ is being revised downwards to such an extent that numerous follow on booster shots are required, it makes sense to look to less toxic interventions.

The study shows very positive outcomes with CBD, as detailed in the results:

RESULTS

To test the effect of CBD on SARS-CoV-2 replication, we pretreated A549 human lung carcinoma cells expressing exogenous human ACE-2 receptor (A549-ACE2) for 2 hours with 0–10 μM CBD prior to infection with SARS-CoV-2. After 48 hours, we monitored cells for expression of the viral spike protein (S). For comparison, we also treated cells over a similar dose range with an MLK inhibitor (URMC-099) previously implicated as an antiviral for HIV (12) and KPT-9274, a PAK4/NAMPT inhibitor (13) that our analysis suggested might reverse many changes in gene expression caused by SARS-CoV-2.
