One of the drag queens featured at CMT’s country music award show openly admitted to targeting children with his sexualized performances during a red carpet interview with the Austin American-Statesmen. The award show performance, which came in the wake of the transgender slaughter of Christian children in the country music capital of Nashville, Tennessee, has drawn massive criticism and is being seen as yet another instance of the entertainment industry forcing a homosexual agenda onto unsuspecting viewers.
Pop country singer Kelsea Ballerini was joined on stage for a performance at Sunday’s CMT Music Awards by four drag queens who’d previously been cast as contestants on RuPaul’s “drag race” TV program. The performance, which included the entire venue being lit up with a “gay pride” flag, was reportedly a direct jab at the states of Tennessee and Texas (the awards were held in Austin, TX) over legislation that’s been signed in Tennessee and filed in Texas that’s meant to ban the drag shows for kids that have become commonplace in recent years, much like how children are banned from strip clubs or from purchasing pornography.
On the red carpet, one of the drag queens openly admitted during a fawning interview with the Austin-American Statesman newspaper that he’s targeting children with his performances, regardless of what laws meant to protect kids from sexualization have to say about it.
“You ladies are so beautiful,” an Austin-American Statesman reporter told the four men in dresses and make-up. “It’s so nice to see such beautiful queens here in Texas. It has been kind of a rough run for Texas drag queens right now,” the reporter said, alluding to the anti-child predator legislation making its way through the Texas legislature. “Do you have any advice that you would give to them right now?”
“We’re still motivating young people,” the drag queen, who calls himself “Kennedy Davenport,” responded. “We’re still inspiring them, we’re still lifting them up, because at the end of the day, we have a calling and we have a job as drag queens.”
“Drag girls, just keep focused,” he added before another drag queen vowed to the Austin-American Statesman that he will “continue to push the envelope.”
