Joe Biden Uses Covid-19 Bout to Take Ridiculous Cheap Shot at Former President Trump

President Joe Biden used the occasion of a speech at the Rose Garden about his recent bout with Covid-19 to take a cheap shot at former President Donald Trump.

“Test it, and if you need it, Paxlovid is at the ready, right then and there, when you make your visit,” Biden mumbled.

“Again, go to Covid.gov to find where test-and-treat sites are there near you,” he added.

“Here’s the bottom line,” he went on. “When my predecessor got COVID, he had to get helicoptered to Walter Reed medical center. He was severely ill. Thankfully, he recovered. When I got COVID, I worked from upstairs of the White House in the office upstairs and for the five day period. The difference is vaccinations, of course.”

It doesn’t get much pettier and more ridiculous than this. Extremely unpresidential behavior like this is one of the reasons Biden has the lowest presidential approval ratings in the last 75 years.

Despite Joe Biden’s boasting about vaccination and boosting, they are far from a guarantee that an elderly person will survive Covid-19. Former Covid response coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx recently admitted that 50% of those who died with Covid after Omicron were elderly and vaccinated.

Former President Trump was taken to Walter Reed Medical Center in October 2020 and reportedly experienced low oxygen levels and lung inflammation symptoms.

Despite not having the vaccine, then 74-year-old Donald Trump was soon back in action after his bout with Covid-19. He returned to Twitter triumphantly and compared Covid-19 to the flu.

“Flu season is coming up!” he wrote. “Are we going to close down our Country? No, we have learned to live with it, just like we are learning to live with Covid.”

On Wednesday, White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor said that the president had tested negative for Covid after a five-day isolation and would immediately discontinue his isolation. Biden took two antigen tests, one on Tuesday evening and one on Wednesday morning, that were both negative, Dr. Kevin O’Connor added.

The president was instructed to wear a ‘well-fitting mask’ for ten days in a purported effort to stop the spread of the virus to others.

O’Connor attributed Biden’s “rebound”to the antiviral Paxlovid, which the president referenced in his speech.

SVB Leerink analyst Geoffrey Porges projected in November 2021 that the drug Paxlovid will generate $24.2 billion in 2022 sales. It obviously doesn’t hurt profits to have a president who acts like a Big Pharma salesman.
