President Joe Biden was a major force behind Canadian premiere Justin Trudeau’s crackdown on the “Freedom Convoy,” as has come out in a startling new report.
Trudeau’s oppressive crackdown violated fundamental human rights and led to new totalitarian measures, such as the debanking of key organizers.
As reported by the Daily Mail, President Joe Biden demanded that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stop the ‘freedom convoy‘ that “protested at the US-Canada border against vaccine mandates, right before Trudeau invoked emergency powers to end it.”
“Trudeau is set to testify in Ottawa on Friday regarding his decision to clear out the convoy as part of the Canadian government’s investigation into the PM using those powers,” the report added.
Biden had pressed Trudeau to put a stop to the Freedom Convoy. Canadian Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland saying that Washington was ‘very, very, very worried.’
On February 10, Freeland said in an email that U.S. government feared “all of their northeastern car plants will shut down” if the truckers’ convoy was not dispersed within 12 hours.
Freeland coordinated with Biden’s top economic advisor, Brian Deese, who complained that the blockades could cost around $2.9 billion a day in international trade. She also told the inquiry that she thought Canada was “in the process of doing long-term and possibly irreparable harm to our trading relationship with the United States.”
The next day, Brian Deese and Trudeau’s chief of staff Brian Clow set up a call between the Biden and the prime minister. Trudeau was provided with a plan to end the convoy, according to a report by Politico.
According to texts between Clow and Freeland, Trudeau talked to Biden about “money, people and political/media support” and complained that journalists like Fox News’ Tucker Carlson was fueling the blockades with nightly coverage.
Biden reportedly spoke about rumors of a potential American convoy that could blockade Washington and the Super Bowl in Inglewood, California. According to Freeland, Biden said the blockades were a ‘shared problem.’
On Friday, Justin Trudeau testified at the hearing. His testimony was filled with wild accusations, blatant falsehoods, and dubious political smears.

Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau had seized “emergency powers” under the nation’s Emergencies Act to crush the Freedom Convoy’s mission to compel the government to recognize citizens’ basic rights and freedoms.
Trudeau gave the greenlight for the Ottawa Police to compile an “enemies list” to target anyone who supported the Freedom Convoy protests.
“If you are involved in this protest, we will actively look to identify you and follow up with financial sanctions and criminal charges,” the interim police chief said.
The Emergencies Act granted Trudeau the authority to impose martial law, brand Canadians as enemies of the state without trial, seize their bank accounts, and make them political prisoners. The Canadian government arrested over 200 Freedom Convoy protesters under the Emergencies Act.
Justice Minister David Lametti even appeared on CTV on Wednesday night and compared the anti-mandate protesters to “terrorists,” while issuing a warning to the “pro-Trump” movement.
“If you are a member of a pro-Trump movement who is donating hundreds of thousands of dollars, and millions of dollars to this kind of thing, then you ought to be worried,” Lametti said.
A number of Canadian provinces subsequently pushed back against the Trudeau-led government and its usurpation of emergency powers.
In February, Joe Biden pronounced that the Covid “national emergency” should be extended ahead of an expected People’s Convoy heading towards Washington D.C.
