… centralized “red flag” hub to target “threatening” firearms owners
To help law enforcement, prosecutors, judges and other government leaders across America more easily implement their “red flag” gun laws, the Biden regime is creating a national center to coordinate the provision of training and technical assistance.
On March 23, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the creation of the National Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) Resource Center, a centralized training and technical assistance hub to streamline the enforcement of controversial red flag laws, which aim to take guns away from Americans “who pose a threat to themselves or others.”
“Red flag laws basically let someone such as police, family members, or medical professionals bring a claim to an emergency court alleging that a person is mentally unwell and is a danger to themselves or others,” is how one report explains them.
“If the court accepts the claim, that individual can then be ‘flagged’ and prevented from buying firearms, and it also allows the police to seize any guns in their possession.”

DOJ spying on gun owners
Advocates of red flag laws say they are necessary to identify people who are too high-risk to own guns in order to stop them from exercising their Second Amendment rights. Opponents say that red flag laws are probably causing the founding fathers to roll in their graves.
“The launch of the National Extreme Risk Protection Order Resource Center will provide our partners across the country with valuable resources to keep firearms out of the hands of individuals who pose a threat to themselves or others,” announced Attorney General Merrick Garland in favor of the new ERPO.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) opposes the ERPO, having written on X that the ERPO is not what it seems on the surface.
“Merrick Garland just announced a massive Red Flag Operation that the DOJ will be running by using EVERY spy tool the U.S. government has in order to violate American’s Second Amendment!!” Greene wrote on X, adding that the DOJ under Biden has been “weaponized.”
As of this writing, nearly half the country, including 21 states and the District of Columbia, has red laws on the books. While these red flag laws are civil orders as opposed to criminal ones, people who violate them could be found guilty of a criminal offense.
Vice President Kamala Harris proudly boasted on X that the Biden regime “invested” $750 million in taxpayer money to help implement these red flag laws, with more on the way to pass them in additional states.
“Today, I am calling on every state to take action, and we are launching a national red flag resource center to assist,” Harris further wrote, drawing heavy criticism from her followers.
In collaboration with the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and the Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Violence Solutions (CGVS), the new ERBO will work to “address gun violence as an epidemic-level public health emergency” that “disproportionately impacts communities of color.”
In order to function as intended, the ERBO requires “direct access to critical information that will enhance their ability to reduce firearm homicides and suicides.” This, of course, means that spying will need to take place, just as Greene warned.
“What the hell is this evil?,” tweeted Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.). “A Federal Red Flag center; We did not authorize this.”
“Oh look. The DOJ just created a program to red flag Trump supporters at the same time they are allowing for illegals to have guns,” added conservative political activist Laura Loomer.
