XBB, The “Nightmare Variant” Is Here

The mainstream media is making sure we know that the XBB subvariant of Omicron is here and it’s a “nightmare”. This one, like many before it, has been “immune evasive” meaning it’ll still infect those who have already had COVID-19 or have been given five injections to prevent it.

So what’s the point with all the shots then if the heavily injected are in the same boat as those who have not had any shots?

XBB was discovered this week, in Singapore. New COVID-19 cases more than doubled in a day, from 4,700 on Monday to 11,700 on Tuesday and XBB is almost certainly why according to the Daily Beast.  The same subvariant just appeared in Hong Kong, too.

A highly mutated descendant of the Omicron variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus that drove a record wave of infections starting around a year ago, XBB is in many ways the worst form of the virus so far. It’s more contagious than any previous variant or subvariant. It also evades the antibodies from monoclonal therapies, potentially rendering a whole category of drugs ineffective as COVID treatments. –The Daily Beast

“It is likely the most immune-evasive and poses problems for current monoclonal antibody-based treatments and prevention strategy,” Amesh Adalja, a public-health expert at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, told The Daily Beast.

But other mainstream media sources, including Yahoo News, claim XBB is likely to peak in November. Since that isn’t too far off, we probably don’t have much to worry about other than the propaganda.

XBB has been “more transmissive” but does not cause more severe illness. In fact, much like other variants and the original version of the virus, you may not even know you have it unless you take a faulty and fraudulent PCR test to make the determination.

The Omicron VBB sub-variant which is driving up COVID-19 infection cases is expected to peak in mid-November, said the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Saturday (15 October).

The media is still pushing the newest jab, which would be shot number five, the bivalent Moderna/Spikevax vaccine. It has been available in Singapore since Friday. It is able to target both the original COVID-19 strain as well as the Omicron variant, The MOH is encouraging those who are eligible for their next vaccine dose to take the Modern/Spikevax vaccine at any of its joint testing and vaccination centers.

So even though this thing evades vaccines, people are still encouraged to get the vaccine.
