A famed virologist who was “instrumental in the Emergency Authorization of the Covid-19 vaccines” died suddenly earlier this month.
As reported by WDIV in Detroit, the University of Michigan virologist died suddenly from a “brief non-Covid-related illness.”
We’ve also learned this evening that Dr. Oveta Fuller has died,” the report said. “She’s the internationally renowned virologist from Ann Arbor who was instrumental in securing the Emergency Use Authorizations for the three covid vaccines. Dr. Fuller passed away yesterday morning after a brief illness that was not Covid related.”
“Dr. Fuller was a member of the FDA’s advisory Committee in the early days of companies seeking Emergency Use Authorization for Covid vaccines,” the report continued. “She was a meticulous questioning voice to the manufacturers and wasn’t afraid to say no if she didn’t get the answers she demanded.”
This is quite the revisionist history: Both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines passed every phase in Emergency Use Authorization with unanimous consent from the FDA’s advisery committee.
“Her vote is one of the reasons we have Covid vaccines today,” the report added. “But her work went far beyond scrutinizing the protocols to approve a vaccine for a new virus. She worked on numerous continents. Her early work on HIV in Africa undoubtedly saved lives. She was an ordained minister with an organization Trusted Messenger, which created a path for real and accurate information that linked clergy with science. And she spoke truth to power when it came to battling the headwinds of misinformation and deliberate disinformation that clouded the importance of science.”
It is nonetheless ironic that her death comes amidst a new report in the Washington Post that over half of Covid-related deaths in the United States are among “the vaccinated.”
Her obituary in the the Tennessee Tribune provides more background about her life and career.
“Prominent Virologist and AME itinerant elder Dr. A. Oveta Fuller Dies at Age 67,” the obituary begins. “Rev. Dr. Almyra Oveta Fuller was born on August 31, 1955, in Mebane, North Carolina.”
Thus, we know that Fuller was 67 years old, nearly a decade below life expectancy for females.
“Dr. Fuller traveled to several African nations, including Botswana, South Africa, and Zambia to help members of the clergy to better understand the science behind HIV and AIDS and how to help educate their congregations on the impact of AIDS impacts in their communities,” the obituary continued. “Dr. Fuller most recently served on the Vaccine and Biological Products Advisory Committee of the Food and Drug Administration whose most recent work was the emergency release of the COVID-19 vaccine.”
“Fuller died on November 18, 2022, after a brief non-COVID-related illness,” the obituary added.
Canadian attorney Viva Frei put the development in context.
Virologist Dr. A Oveta Fuller, who was “instrumental in the emergency authorization of the COVID-19 vaccine” dies after “brief non-COVID-related illness” (i.e. *dies suddenly*). There’s no need to ask whether or not she was fully vaccinated. It can safely be presumed. pic.twitter.com/PnQBOpXPHa

We don’t know exactly how Dr. Fuller died. We’re not even supposed to ask questions. But we can add her name to the “dies suddenly” file, which has continued to grow in the wake of multiple rounds of the failed Covid vaccines.
